About the role
We are hiring a Team Lead for a 12-month contract to lead a backend squad delivering data-heavy services. This is a delivery-focused role for an experienced engineer who enjoys coaching others.

Key responsibilities
Lead day-to-day delivery for a backend team

Design and review services built with Python and Django

Own data modelling and query performance in PostgreSQL

Coach engineers and run effective ceremonies

Requirements
6+ years of backend engineering experience

Strong Python and Django background

Solid PostgreSQL and data-modelling skills

Proven people-leadership and delivery track record
